Stylishly Shopping the Sales

So we all like to save money, right? And for those of us for whom shopping is a way of life, we really love to save a little coin when doing what we do best (i.e. looking for stylish things for ourselves and others), am I right?

And of course, that’s where Black Friday and Cyber Monday come in....It’s the perfect time to get some holiday shopping done, while finding deals and steals on items we’d probably buy anyway if we’re honest. Now I’ll admit that I love to shop and save....I'm a huge Nordstrom Rack and TJMaxx fan for just that reason: Great finds at great prices! But because I don’t love big shopping crowds, Black Friday is a little bit of a stretch for me. And I am also the type of person who has to see things in person, feel the fabric, try things on, check for quality before buying so I am also not a huge online shopper for clothes but, that said, I think I’ve figured out a way to get the best of both worlds when it comes to shopping and saving during the upcoming deal-filled weekend! This year I’m browsing my favorite stores, finding things I love, trying on if necessary, making lists of items I think work for both my gift list for others and my own Christmas list, and then waiting until Cyber Monday to purchase online and take advantage of the sales.

And speaking of sales, here are some of the deals you can expect (from some of my fave large retailers) in the coming week:

H&M: Countdown to Black Friday.....H&M is offering up to 80% off select men’s and women’s apparel styles, kids’ clothes and home goods. Free standard shipping is also available on all orders with the code 0319 (the offer is valid until Nov. 28). In addition, most purchases over $60 will be 20% off in the store through Nov. 28 and online through Wednesday.

Target: Target stores are already offering their “10 Days of Deals”.... For Black Friday, shoppers can expect 30% and more off select apparel, accessories and shoes for all.

Dezzal: I recently discovered this online retailer and have posted a number of pics of their cute pieces (they have an extensive selection of dresses)....The site ( is offering up to 40% off select items and 20% off orders of $150 or more with code HIFRIDAY20. Also, for Thanksgiving use the simple code: Thanksgiving for $10 off orders over $100 and $25 off orders over $200.

And when it comes to some of the other brands I love, here’s a list of some great savings you can also look forward to (I know I am!):
