On the Tenth, Eleventh and Twelveth Days of Christmas....A Conclusion
It’s here….no, not Christmas yet….it’s my last installment in this holiday series! I’ve really had fun with this and gotta admit I’m kind of sad to see it end. But the end of the series only means we are just days away from the big day! Anyone else hoping for some fabulous shoes under the tree??
But before I can get to opening shoes, here’s a rundown of my last of these 12 holiday looks:
Haute Hippie Teal Dress (got this one at Nordstrom Rack a few years ago, but found a similar version by the same brand)
Sequin Bomber Jacket (Forever 21)
Another look with the gorgeous teal Haute Hippie dress (one of my favorite brands), but this time I paired it with my sequin bomber for a trendy, sparkle-filled look. Not only do I love the teal and rose gold combo, I also love how you can take an elegant dress and make a super fun and trendy look by adding a choker and topknot. I also paired this outfit with my amazing Lanvin heels with embellished toe detail (I got these at Neiman's a few years ago but have linked a couple other embellished heels here and here)….a perfect example of high-low dressing!
Candy Cane Graphic Tee (Pam & Gela, got mine at http://garbarinishop.com/ in Denver)
Black Distressed Jeans (picked up these Paige ones at TJMaxx here in Denver – one of the best finds ever! – but I’ve linked an AG pair that’s pretty close)
Forest Green Faux Fur Coat (found this at my local Forever 21 but it was the only one in store and I can’t seem to find it online, so I’ve linked a similar faux fur jacket)
One more with this Pam & Gela candy cane tee….. I mean I had to do the red and green look sometime right? This time I wore the tee with my black denim and green faux fur as a nod to the traditional red and green Christmas color combo. Then I added fun pewter booties that I found at Nordstrom Rack for a little added metallic shine (I've linked a couple similar pairs of booties here and here . I think this look is perfect for a casual dinner date or grabbing a cocktail with the girls.
Sequin Tank (My own p&p design sample, never produced, but linked a similar option)
Plaid Maxi Skirt with Slit (also my p&p design, available at Shine in Denver http://igniteshine.me/)
Last one! Gotta go out with a bang (and a sparkle)! I know I mentioned before that I kinda like to match (what can I say? I’m old school), but I do sometimes try to play around with pattern mixing and this look is my nod to that. I love the red/black/gold combo and the pairing of sequins with plaid because it takes something that’s traditionally casual like a plaid print and turns the whole look up a notch. Plus, I think the sequins, leg slit and leather make this look edgy and a little sexy, perfect for a date, a party or just because we’re girls and we like it! And to complete the looks I added my Christian Louboutin heels, gold necklace (I got this one at Nordstrom Rack, but I've linked a similar version) and gold clutch with knuckle rings (linked both the designer version here and an affordable option here) because little details really make a look don't you think?
So there it is….my Twelve Outfits of Christmas, all wrapped up and tied with a pretty little bow. I hope you’ve enjoyed the series because I really enjoyed creating it! And I hope it gave you some holiday style inspiration…I know it inspired me to create new outfits with things I already have in my closet. Thanks so much for following along with me and I’d love to know what you thought of this or what else you’d like to see from me on the blog! Merry Christmas!!
