Ring Ring....Custom Case Design with CaseApp
Accessories make an outfit, am I right? As girls, we LOVE our accessories…..bracelets, necklaces, earrings, hats, bags and shoes (glorious shoes!!) And of course, we can’t forget the accessory we never leave home without….that’s right, our phone. I don’t know about you, but I am on my phone ALL THE TIME (really too much if I’m honest), but between texting and emailing, Instagram and Facebook (yes, I’m still on Facebook), my phone is with me pretty much constantly. And of course, as a permanent accessory it needs to be super cute, stylish and unique (I mean it has to reflect my personal style after all)!
That’s where CaseApp comes in. I recently discovered CaseApp (caseapp.com) and love that not only do they offer an awesome variety of pre-made phone case designs and computer skins, but they also offer the opportunity to create and customize your very own….How fun right? As a designer, I always love the idea of creating something that is uniquely mine and this was no exception. And after thinking on it and considering lots of different design options, I settled on using this pretty floral print from one of my very favorite fabrics (one that I used for both a bell-sleeve top and a maxi skirt in my peach and pepper F/W collection).
And it was so easy! All I had to do was choose the model (they give you so many options... really any iPhone, iPad or Samsung Galaxy model), upload an image of my fabric print, center it on their phone case outline to get the print right where I wanted it, choose matte or glossy finish (I chose matte), add it to my cart and order. And within a very short time (I think it was actually less than a week) I had my brand new, custom phone case in a design I love and which is unique to me. And it really does look almost exactly like my floral fabric print, the only difference being that the print is smaller and the color shade is just a little less bright than the fabric (that could be the matte finish), but overall pretty perfect.
And the cost is really reasonable as well at just $34. In my experience phone cases typically run between $10 (on the very low end) and $40, so for a custom case, I think the price is on point. PLUS from now through next Saturday (1/28) you can get 20% off your order at caseapp.com with the code PEACHANDPEPPER20 so you'll save even more, which is always a great thing!
So if you’re into accessorizing your phone (or your iPad or computer), I definitely recommend checking out CaseApp (I included their site above and you can find them on Instagram at @caseapp) and creating something cool and custom…. I mean, I for one never pass up an opportunity to design something special!
Here’s wishing you a week that’s full of creativity!
