Lily & Laura - Bracelets with Beauty and Heart

"The details are not the details,. They make the design." - Charles Eames

I know I've referenced this quote before (both in an old IG post and here on the blog), but it's one of my very faves because it's so true across all, style, writing, event-planning, designing, brand identity, even relationships. It's the little things that make the biggest impact. That's why I love to design pieces with shoulder cut-outs, back-details, ruffles, asymmetry....because it's those small details that take a basic up a notch and make a piece really stand out.

And when it comes to the other pieces and brands I love, it's that same attention to detail, uniqueness and heart that really make 'em for me. That's in great part the reason I love Lily & Laura so much.

I first discovered this brand while on vacation at a resort in California and bought my first stack of five. Then after coming back to Denver, I saw that they were also available at my local Pure Barre studio (and lots of the girls there were wearing them) and purchased another stack because a girl's gotta have colors to go with every outfit right? I found that I was literally wearing them every day because I loved their story, they are so comfy and truly go with everything. And I was also getting compliments on them wherever I went (still do!). Then I actually bought some for friends as birthday gifts and they loved them as much as I do (I mean what girl is going to say no to a stack of pretty, colorful arm candy??). And of course my collection continues to grow because I am such a fan of both their bracelets and their mission.

So If you're not familiar with this awesome brand, let me fill you in.... Lily & Laura ( offers the most gorgeous, hand-beaded, stackable bracelets out there (in my humble opinion). Every bracelet is handmade by women in Nepal and one third of the company's income goes back into Nepal and into supporting these women with above fair-trade wages. Plus these women are able to work in their homes surrounded by family and friends rather than in a factory setting which is huge!

These bracelets roll on easily and are so easy to wear all day every day. They can go casual or dressy based on your outfit (I even wear mine to work out) and can be worn alone or stacked (I personally love to stack 'em up...the more the merrier!). They are all custom designed by these women artisans in the Kathmandu Valley and are made from gorgeous glass beads in pretty much any color imaginable. And because each bracelet is handmade (you actually get a card with each one signed by the individual women who crafted it), no two are identical (which I love even more).

I absolutely encourage you to check out more of their story on their About Us page and then check out all of their beautiful designs on their shop pages (which are broken down by color, patterns, solids, stacks etc)....I especially love their Glam & Glitz collection but there are seriously so many wonderful options you need to spend some time browsing for yourself. Each bracelet is $12.00 and you can create your own stacks or pre-made stacks are available for $36.00. Plus you can also follow Lily & Laura (@lilyandlaura) on Instagram here and on Facebook here to see all their new designs including holiday options (I mean Valentine's Day is almost upon us).

Bottom line: I adore this brand. I love their mission, their beautiful bracelets and all the little details that make them so special. It really is the details that make the design and Lily & Laura is a perfect example.

And because I love them so much, I'm super excited to offer you a special discount code good for 20% off your order with the code PeachandPepperL+L (so go get yourself or your friends a stack because they really do make great gifts!)

Wishing you all the prettiest week!
