Spring Style with StyleWe

When I think spring/summer style, I think dresses. They are my go-to, my first instinct, my "can never go wrong" choice in the warmer months. I'm just not much of a shorts girl.....yes I do wear them occasionally, but dresses are my comfort zone and my first love in the sunny season. So when StyleWe asked me to choose a couple of items to style, (surprise, surprise) I went for two super cute spring dresses.

Another one of my spring go-to's? Floral. Yes, I know, I know....."Florals for spring? Groundbreaking." But if it ain't broke, don't fix it right? So all that to say, my first StyleWe choice was this high-neck, flared sleeve floral number (I've linked it here), and not gonna lie, I love it. It's made of a rayon fabric that's lightweight and comfortable which is always big in my book and the slightly belled sleeves and ruffled hem sealed the deal. In my opinion, this dress has a very mod, retro feel so that was my first instinct when I styled it. But I actually chose to style it a couple of ways for slightly different looks (mostly because this dress offers so many styling options and I couldn't decide on just one!). So first, I went with the 60's feel and paired it with these mod black ankle boots and bright yellow patent belt. I love the pop of color and the vintage vibes of this pairing. I actually think this look could be perfect going into fall as well. Then I lost the belt and swapped out the boots for these bright pink heels from DSW and added a little striped fabric flower in the hair (that I picked up at Michael's when on a visit shopping for craft supplies) for a sweeter, modern, more spring-like feel. I actually love both looks and can already think of lots of other ways to wear this versatile dress (think OTK black boots in the fall and early winter seasons). It's definitely going to be on repeat!

For my second choice I picked this pretty green, peasant-style dress (which is unfortunately sold out now, but I've linked a couple other lovely green dress options here and here) mostly because I love pretty much any shade of green (they tend to look good on brunette's with hazel eyes like me) and it looked like it would be really comfortable. And I was right. I feel like this dress just screams summer and begs to be paired with pom-poms and tassels so that's what I did. I added this super fun pom-pom clutch that was on sale for less than $10 at Nordstrom Rack (talk about a deal!!) and these platform cork sandals that I like because they make me as tall as I wish I was naturally! The whole look really says vacay to me. (PS. I actually found the same clutch, unfortunately not on sale but still under $45, and linked it above)

When it comes to sizing, I loved that StyleWe has an option where you can type in your measurements (bust, waist, hips) and it tells you what size you would most likely wear. And I found that the floral dress in a M worked well for me based on that. The green dress they sent me was based on the same measurements but arrived in a size L and was slightly big in the waist (but still wearable and very comfortable). I also found the quality of the fabrics and garment construction to be very good. And my correspondence with StyleWe was all timely and positive as well. Plus they have a HUGE selection of items on their site (honestly, it could take hours to look through them all, so probably better if you have an idea of what you're looking for). I do think their site is user friendly and easy to navigate and their prices are moderate (but there's definitely a range...some get up there in price a bit). Most importantly, they have some really cute pieces! All-in-all, based on my experience, I would recommend this company and their products to my friends (and any of you reading!).

You can check out their site at www.stylewe.com to see their giant selection, or just click on the links above to find this floral dress and an alternate green option.

Here's to spring style that inspires us!
